Define Your Facial Features
Dermal fillers offer an effective way to soften your features and improve wrinkles and fine lines. They can also plump up your lips, get rid of dark circles, and give dimension to your nose, chin, and jawline. Returning to your youthful look has never been easier.
how it works
Restore Volume
Dermal fillers are a gel-like substance containing hyaluronic acid, which is a sugar molecule naturally found in your skin. The filler is gently injected into targeted regions to support your skin from within, minimizing the appearance of wrinkles and restoring lost volume as a result.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How many treatments will I need to see results?
Filler results are visible immediately after treatment and progressively settle into the skin over two or more weeks. Some areas require two to three careful treatments over time in order to provide precise results without overdoing it. Other treatments are complete in just one session.
-
How should I prepare for my dermal fillers treatment?
Arrive for your treatment with a clean, product-free face and avoid supplements and medications—with the advice of your doctor, of course—that make you bleed more easily for a few days before treatment in order to reduce your chance of bruising.
-
How long do results last?
MRI studies tell us that the filler is likely in our skin for 24 months or more, although typically enough has dissolved after nine to 12 months for most people to consider a touchup. Duration is also variable from person to person.
-
What is downtime and aftercare like?
Lips tend to swell the most, usually for three to four days. Regardless of the treatment area, there may also be a little bruising for a few days. Icing for the first 24 hours or so may help with any swelling or discomfort. Additional recommended aftercare includes keeping the cannula entry points clean and makeup-free, avoiding exercise for the first 24 hours, and propping yourself up on your back to sleep for the first few nights post-treatment.
-
Should I get fillers or neuromodulators?
Patients often get both, as they’re very complementary treatments that each achieve distinct results. We’ll work with you to come up with an individualized, strategic plan to achieve your aesthetic goals.
-
What if I don’t like my fillers?
Should you decide to tweak your look, reverse an old treatment, or treat an emergency, we can quickly dissolve your dermal fillers with an injectable hyaluronidase enzyme.
-
Are dermal fillers safe?
In the hands of a skilled medical professional with advanced training and experience, yes! Dermal fillers can be unsafe if used by less qualified providers, and we highly recommend seeking out only the most qualified and experienced providers such as those at Pivital.
At Pivital, we also use industry-leading, minimally invasive techniques to make your dermal filler treatment experience as comfortable and painless as possible. This is achieved by using cannulas in place of needles for most treatments, which minimize swelling and bruising and give you the safest treatment possible.
